The coronavirus saw the world change overnight. With seismic shifts in flexible working, kitchen tables were turned into home office and classrooms, and organisations everywhere were forced to reimagine the workplace. At the height of the pandemic, both start-ups and big technology companies contributed to the development of medical technology to help fight the virus and A.I. played a significant role in the challenge of finding drugs and vaccines.

“Connected Business” explores the crucial role technology continues to play in keeping the world connected and highlights the latest technological developments, solutions and trends driving business and communities. The programme launched on 8 September 2020 at the future of work summit, covering Healthcare professionals consulting online and the seismic shift in remote working, to Zalando showcasing how tech is at the heart of their person-centred culture.

Elizabeth Fisher-Robins, Head of ITN Productions Industry News said: “We are delighted to partner with LTW to create a programme that demonstrates the critical role technology plays in supporting lives and driving business. The coronavirus has forced us all to adapt to new ways of working and at ITN Productions, we understand as much as anyone, the vital role of technology in keeping the world connected.”
