Microsoft UK Digital Skills Week

Organisations of all sizes have found themselves contemplating how to work best in an adjusting world of work. Nothing is certain, except for one thing: the use of digital technology and demand for digital skills will only continue to grow. No matter where they are starting from, or where they are heading to, with the right skills, organisations can transform and thrive, and we as individuals can all achieve more in our careers.

The current economic climate may have accelerated the demand for digital skills, but it has also forced millions out of work. To make the UK’s economic recovery as equitable as possible, we need to make sure that everyone – especially those at risk of being left behind – has access to the skills and opportunities that will allow them to succeed in an uncertain world.

But what are the most in-demand skills? How can we close the skills gap? What should business leaders do to safeguard their organisations’ futures? We’ll address all of these questions, and many more, at Microsoft UK’s Digital Skills Week.

Microsoft’s first Digital Skills Week will be between 14-18 September. This week-long celebration of all things Digital Skills brings together the latest ideas and insights from industry leaders as well as a wide range of free training opportunities. Our three core themes for the week are:

  • Skills for an inclusive economic recovery
  • Achieving more with AI
  • Security skills for a changing world of work

Each day will start with a bitesize talk addressing some of the most notable skills trends and topics of the moment. We’ve then packaged up our most popular and valuable training opportunities into handy bundles of learning to help you get to grips with new skills and concepts.
